“Meet Your Future” Local Conference
“MEET YOUR FUTURE” is a public conference powered by AIESEC Alexandria, Egypt; which is going to be held for two consecutive days. The conference directly aims at career planning and development. Consequently, it tackles a major problem in Egyptian society which is “unemployment”.
The conference targets students between ages 18-25 years. Participants will interact with different public speakers (EX: AIESEC Alumni, Entrepreneurs, College Professors, and Corporate Managers). Throughout the conference, participants will be given sessions and workshops about tackling different challenges and obstacles that hinder their career success.
Goals:
1. Tackling demand and supply mismatch in the job market through:
a. Raising Youth employability skills and readiness for the job market
b. Providing an enhanced concept of vocational trainings in several sectors
c. Creating awareness of the increased demand of current open sectors
2. Local Societal Impact
a. The program aims to address a key issue in the local society where education and employability are problems that are affecting local development of society and youth.
3. Encouraging Youth Initiatives
a. The project is a platform for youth to showcase their abilities and awareness of their social responsibility, while increasing their knowledge of the local market and key development issues facing the society.
